Apollo-Bramwell Hospital offers comprehensive outpatient and in-patient paediatric services.
We offer paediatric out-patient services for 6 hours daily by a consultant paediatrician. Our Outpatient Department is manned by a dedicated team of customer support staff and a skilled team of nurses used to working with children. The Paediatric Ward is a beautifully designed and wonderfully decorated dedicated 20-bedded ward, with single rooms with en-suite facilities. Each room has all the amenities for the comfort of both child and parents, including a leather sofabed for relatives. We have a full-time consultant paediatrician supported by a team of visiting paediatricians, full-time paediatric nurses and paediatric residents/registrars to provide you with a world-class paediatric service.
Neonatology
Neonatology is the field of medicine that deals with the care of a newborn baby. At Apollo Bramwell Hospital, besides having all of the facilities to care for a healthy newborn baby, we also have a fully-equipped state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) enabling us to take care of all sick newborns, including preterm babies. We are equipped with neonatal ventilators, cardio-respiratory monitors and pulse oxymeters for the surveillance and treatment of our very precious tiny babies. We also have a transport incubator which will enable us to provide a transfer service from other healthcare facilities that would like to transfer a sick baby to our centre.
This department is under the responsibility of a full-time Paediatrician and Neonatologist. |
